Maxima and Minima Complete the Sonus Faber Amator Range at KJ

We are pleased to have received demonstration models of the incredibly beautiful Sonus Faber Maxima and Minima Amator loudspeakers. They join the Electa Amator III here at KJ West One to complete the ‘Heritage’ collection.

The Maxima Amator is the latest and the head of the of the collection. It is a floor standing 2-way design made from solid wood. The speaker is finished with leather, brass and natural stone to give it a real classic aura whilst demonstrating a uniquely modern twist.

Hifi News Magazine gave the Maxima Amator a glowing review saying “Looks are not deceiving – these are elegant, classically-styled and designed loudspeakers for lovers of equally refined, classically themed recordings…. they do sound every bit as gorgeous as they look”.

The Minima Amator II is the baby of the group. It is a smaller stand mount speaker which is just as at home on stands or on a bookshelf. Keeping the same design features as the rest of the range, Minima is a gorgeous speaker which will blend in nicely with almost any interior.

Minima uses a 28mm silk dome tweeter, implemented with the DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology, with the same design solution of Electa Amator III: the tripod, that recalls the peculiarity of both their predecessors. It also features a 150mm midwoofer developed in the Vicenza-based laboratory. It features the well known cellulose pulp and natural fibres cone on a die-cast aluminium basket.

All three speakers are now on permanent demonstration in our Central London showroom situated on New Cavendish Street in the heart of Marylebone. Get in touch if you would like more information or to book an appointment.
