Estonian brand Degritter has quickly become a popular name within the hi-fi industry since launching their first product, the Degritter Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine, just a few years ago. Today, they have announced their latest version, the new MARK II.
The key innovation of the new model comes in the form of a newly designed ‘Power Drive 2.0’. The new drive is able to offer a ‘Pulse Mode’ cleaning feature. During pulsing, ultrasonic transducers rapidly switch on and off at high power. This gives enhanced cavitation in water, but keeps the average power consumption low.
For the MARK II, Degritter have perfected the feel and function of the machine’s buttons. The rotations and presses provide a much more satisfying feel, giving that extra level of quality to the product.
Although it keeps the same overall look as the first variation, the MARK II’s aesthetics have been improved with subtle changes. The silver finish is slightly darker and the black now features a silver logo. There is also less text on the machine giving a cleaner, sleeker look.
Despite the upgraded features, the MARK II is just £90 more expensive than the previous model. Both silver and black editions are available for £2,540.
As we still have stock of the first edition Degritters, we are able to offer these for a reduced price of £2,165 whilst stocks last.
The MARK II machines will be officially released on November 25th.
