Devialet Pro Series Upgrades To Begin In September

One of the key features of all Devialet amplifiers is the unique upgrade path that they build into their products. Devialet is a hugely innovative company and they want to make sure that their customers always have the opportunity to keep their amplifiers on the cutting edge of technology.

This month Devialet have announced the latest of said upgrade innovations, with the release of their new ‘Pro’ range of amplifiers.

The new range sees the introduction of 4 new models, the 130 Pro, 220 Pro, 440 Pro and the Flagship 1000 Pro.

Upgrades to Pro are available to every Devialet amplifier, whether you have an original D Premier or a later model.

What has been improved on the ‘Pro’ range?

There are many advancements that have been utilised in the new ‘Pro’ range, the majority of which have trickled down the range following the development of the limited edition Original d’Atelier.

Firstly all of the Pro amplifiers feature an updated version of the patented ‘ADH (Analogue Digital Hybrid) technology’. The ADH has been rethought and redesigned to give a significant sonic improvement at all power levels whilst reducing the THD (Total harmonic distortion).

The precision of the ADH core control is now 4 times more accurate than with the previous incarnation.
Both the Class A and Class D amplifiers have been improved, with the A getting simplified to reduce the THD even more. In addition, zero current goes through the Class A in standby mode, keeping the power consumption of the system as low as possible.

The Class D amplifier has been developed through the Original d’Atelier project and is now capable of transmitting more power without any variation in the size. It also now features 14 filter inductors per channel (up from 12) which gives more gain in the ADH loop. Improvements to the circuitry design also give the Class D board increased efficiency and less thermal loss.
Devialet’s patented DAC ‘magic wire’ which enables the shortest possible path between the DAC and speaker wire has been improved by lower the amount of transistors used to increase accuracy.

Further developments have been made through the power supply, which can now handle transient loads twice as fast, and the thermal management which now dissipates heat two times quicker than on previous models.

How Do I Upgrade?

If you have a current Devialet amplifier and you think you would like to upgrade your system to a Pro version, you will need to do it between 1st September and the 31st December 2016.

Contact us and register your amplifier for the upgrade. It can either be shipped from our store or your personal address, whichever is easier and turnaround time for the upgrade is 15-20 working days.

The pricing for models purchased in 2015 or ealier is as follows –

And for models bought in 2016 –

We currently have the 1000 Pro amplifier in store and available for demonstration, please get in touch to arrange a demonstration, register for your upgrade or if you have any further questions.
