Ortofon Cartridges
Founded in Copenhagen, Ortofon initially made soundtracks for movies. In 1948 it developed its first moving coil cartridge, since then more than 300 different cartridges have been developed and manufactured. Ortofon is now one of the largest manufacturers of phono cartridges in the world. Their HQ in Denmark boasts an incredible state of the art technology centre where they are constantly working on their cartridges and driving innovation.
