Description
The X1 is Lumin’s flagship streamer. They have claimed to have designed without compromise. It features many upgrades from the lower models including a new processor delivering native DSD512 & PCM768 playback. The X1 also features a unique dual mono design throughout which maximises channel separation.
Another significant upgrade with the X1 model is its power supply. This entirely new PSU is built from solid billet CNC casing design, with separate digital & analogue circuitry. It has a low-noise linear regulator and a new 9-pin connector.
Inside the X1 are the sophisticated Dual ES9038Pro SABRE DACs featuring 140dB dynamic range. These DACs help the X1 to give its trademark, very musical / enjoyable sound.
Other features of the X1 include a femto Clock System with precision FPGA distribution, new output buffer design, dual mono dual stage linear regulator, an optical network which provides complete isolation from network digital noise and USB digital audio output supports native DSD512.
