Store Manager Central London Full-timeOn-site View role +Close −

About the job

For over 60 years, KJ West One has been the destination for serious audio enthusiasts. From our luxury showroom in the heart of the West End, we help clients find equipment that genuinely changes the way they listen to music. We are now looking for a Store Manager who can lead that experience from the front.

This is not a typical retail management role. Our clients are knowledgeable and passionate, and so is our team. You will be leading a showroom where conversations about turntables, amplifiers and acoustics are part of the daily fabric, and where the right advice can turn a first-time visitor into a lifelong customer.

What you will be doing:

Leading the day-to-day running of the store: operations, sales performance, inventory, and visual standards, while setting the tone for how customers are welcomed and served. You will manage and develop a small, specialist team, coach them on both product knowledge and the art of consultative selling, and ensure that every client interaction reflects the quality of the equipment we sell.

What we are looking for

You will have at least 3 years of retail management experience, ideally in a high-end or specialist environment, but more importantly, you will have a genuine passion for hi-fi and audio. You understand the difference between selling a product and guiding someone toward the right one. You are organised, commercially minded, and know how to bring out the best in a team.

A background in the audio industry or a deep personal interest in high-end sound is essential.

Why KJ West One?

You will be joining one of the UK’s most respected names in specialist audio, with a heritage dating back to 1965. We stock some of the world’s finest brands and take pride in offering the kind of service that others cannot match. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team in a field you are genuinely passionate about.
